  1. You may have tried this already but South Korea most likely keeps birth records. If you know your mother’s name, you should be able to find a record of a baby girl born to her (birth certificates are a matter of public record), and once you have your sister’s name (correct spelling) and her exact date of birth, you can search driver’s license and/or marriage records for her. Of course, this may be expensive & require that you go to South Korea. Also, your sister may not be living in South Korea any longer, 1981 was a long time ago & it’s possible she could have emigrated to Canada or the States.
