Left Behind

Pass by, turn and a smile. Impressions remain from lingering glances.

A long hug from your love, a look, a question… the moment passes

A conversation, discussions with friends interrupted

Parting with acquaintances

left behind chances

Blur of faces, shapes and colors an emotional memory dancing shadows on your soul

Something so beloved, feeding life to your heart, and unknown to others, gathering dust until the final recycle

Memories piled one by one, those never shared sent adrift in an unknown ether for possible review by those unfamiliar with language

Things left behind can sometimes be found
